From beginnings as a mechanised contract embroidery founded by Josef and Wilfrieda Kühnl in 1948 came the companies Fränkische Bettwarenfabrik GmbH (FBF bed & more) and ESTELLA Ateliers - Die besondere Bettwäsche GmbH in 1979. The product spectrum ranges from hotel beds and bed linen through to towelling and bed and table linen for the home market. Specialist stores for textiles offer our high-end, modern bed linen under the brand name „ESTELLA“.
Since 1st July 1996, in order to guarantee an infrastructure amenable to expansion for both areas, the ESTELLA and Fränkische Bettwarenfabrik companies as well as various subsidiaries in other countries are operated as independent companies under the parent HK HOLDING AG.
